ARTISTA IN AZIENDA

We are happy to share the birth of the ARTISTA IN AZIENDA project curated by Viola Emaldi, which sees Ceramica Senio supporting contemporary art. The first artist to engage with ceramics in the company is Thomas Berra, who chose us as a partner for the creation of an installation now exhibited at Palazzo Affaitati – Museo Civico Ala Ponzone (Cremona) on Cremona Art week.

Berra’s work titled “Fai bene finchè hai tempo” (2024) presents itself as a reflection on life, a space that resembles a bathroom, the last place in society but which – personally for the artist – represents an intimate place, of contemplation.

The ceramic support chosen by Thomas is a glazed terracotta in glossy white majolica in the size of 15×15 cm – 6”x6” on which, at high fire, he intervened by graphically painting with the “Faenza” Blue pigment.
